What is Nutritional Therapy and how can it help you?

 

Nutritional therapy provides a foundational approach to health-- foundations rooted in nutrition, that when supported and strengthened, build a healthy, robust, vibrant body. But when there are weaknesses in the foundations, consequences arise. The only way to eliminate consequences is to address and support these foundations, and nutritional therapy achieves this by utilizing what nature provides to us.

 

What I do as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner goes much deeper than telling you what to eat and what not to eat. Every body and lifestyle has different nutrient demands. Instead, I work to educate and empower you to make decisions about your diet and your health.

**I do not diagnose or treat disease, nor do I look to manage or cover up symptoms. Instead, I work to uncover underlying imbalances and/or deficiencies that may be leading to whatever ailment, disorder, or illness has manifested. I am trained to investigate dysfunction within the body, and provide the guidance and education necessary to re-balance, strengthen, and revitalize it.**


 

My Story

 

My name is Angela Reimer.  My first journey was to become a dietitian.  My passion has always been with cooking and helping people be healthy.  I love the holistic side of health, so I found the Nutritional Therapy Association in my search.  Their approach was very appealing to me and I love the basic principles they utilize. 

Through acquiring my knowledge as an NTP, I have helped my husband's high blood sugar issue be under control.  He has learned what certain foods trigger his blood sugar and how he feels when his blood sugar spikes.  His appreciation of real food has helped him achieve better wellness.  I can help you too with health issues and get you to appreciate real foods that work with your body.  

I have also helped myself get rid of psorisis in my scalp, clearer skin, sleep better and better overall health.
